Mobile SMSFU for Irkutsk Oil Company

Developed by Uraltechnostroy Corporation, the mobile small-sized modular separation-filling unit (SMSFU) is becoming more and more in demand among Russian oil and gas companies. At the end of May, mobile SMSFU was shipped to JSC "INK-Zapad" from the company's production site.

The unit will be operated at the Bolshetirsky oil field and is designed for testing for the period of trial operation of wells, measuring the production of wells on liquid and gas, heating the liquid for heaters, temporarily storing liquid in set containers, and also for filling oil into tanker trucks with the subsequent export to the points of reception and flaring of associated gas. SMSFU is a complex of 15 mobile modules in a maximum factory readiness, installed on a sled base, providing a compact arrangement of devices and convenience in installation, dismantling and transportation, in the absence of infrastructure.

The joint-stock company INK-Zapad (JSC INK-Zapad) was established on May 7, 2009 by LLC Irkutsk Oil Company jointly with the Japan national corporation for oil, gas and metals. The company holds licenses for geological exploration, exploration and production of hydrocarbon raw materials in the Zapadno Yaraktinskoye and Bol'shetirsky licensed areas in the Irkutsk region, within which the Ichodinskoye oil, Bolshetyrskoye oil and Tokminskoye oil and gas condensate fields were opened in 2012. After six years from the moment of the creation the company has passed to year-round extraction of hydrocarbonic raw materials.

Irkutsk Oil Company is the largest representative of the independent sector of the oil and gas industry in Russia. Over the past four years, INC annually increases the rates of extraction of hydrocarbon raw materials (HCP) and is among the leaders in the Russian oil industry. The second important feature of the company is that it operates in Eastern Siberia, a relatively new and very perspective oil and gas region of the country.
